The California Notary Public Prep mobile application ("App") is a study tool created to help future notaries in California prepare for the state notary exam. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information from users. Specifically, the App does not collect:
All quizzes, questions, and study materials are available locally on the device after download and function offline. No user-identifiable data is sent to any server by the App.
The App does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If any future update introduces third-party services that collect data, we will update this Privacy Policy and clearly disclose what is collected and why.
All content required for study and testing is stored locally on the device. The App is designed to work offline after initial download so that your study sessions and progress remain on your device only.
The App is intended for users preparing for the California notary exam. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect personal data, there is no deliberate collection of children's personal information.
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data to secure on remote servers. Users should secure their own devices (for example with a device passcode) to protect local data on the device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes that affect how data is collected or used, we will post an updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
